The person who has completed the Dialogue Facilitation Certification has received 20 hours of instruction, practice, and study surrounding dialogue facilitation. They have learned and practiced the skills of dialogue facilitation and are prepared to facilitate dialogue across lines of difference between students on their campus. The certification equipped them with a holistic understanding of the role of a dialogue facilitator, facilitation techniques, intervention strategies, and a framework for planning and running dialogue opportunities for students. The certification prepared them to facilitate dialogue across a range of contexts, including routine residential life programming, unexpected campus events, and interpersonal student conflicts.
