Management Essentials 2024: A Comprehensive Learning Program for Armed Forces and Families

The Management Essentials 2024 program is a landmark initiative tailored exclusively for members and families of the Armed Forces. This online-live program on Business Administration, jointly certified by MILVEST and the Indian Institute of Management Shillong, ran from 30 January 2024 to 31 October 2024, offering an unparalleled learning experience.

Management Lessons by IIM Faculty

The program comprised 67 live online sessions, delivered by the esteemed faculty of IIM Shillong, amounting to 100 hours of  instruction. The curriculum was thoughtfully structured into nine modules covering the core aspects of Business Administration:

• Military Members: Serving and retired personnel, ranging from 3-star generals to young officers and other ranks.
• Families: Spouses, Fauji Kids, and military widows.
• Industry Professionals: Representation from leading Indian corporates and MNCs.

Participants spanned the entire length and breadth of India, encompassing the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard, with the eldest being a 78-year-old Vande-VeerNaari and the youngest, a 21-year-old final-year graduate student. The participants also included C-suite Corporate leaders to transitioning military personnel, freshers, and job-seekers
