Awarded to participants who successfully completed the DesignHER™ Futures Online x AKAYA Foundation programme — a four-week digital empowerment and leadership experience designed to equip young Black girls and women (ages 16–22) with creative confidence, digital fluency, and global collaboration skills.

Badge earners demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving through a social impact design challenge, culminating in a public presentation to an international panel of judges.

Earning Criteria

To earn the DesignHER™ Futures Online Graduate badge, participants must:

  1. Attend at least 3 out of 4 live sessions.

  2. Contribute actively to a team project responding to a social impact brief.

  3. Develop a digital presentation using Canva.

  4. Present their team’s final concept at the DesignHER™ Challenge Showcase.
