While the fundamentals course covers common attack,&nbsp;exploitation techniques and fundamental security principles to adhere to, advanced course goes deeper. The lessons dive deep&nbsp;into full system threat modelling, correctly applying authentication, authorisation and step-up authentication concepts, input validation,&nbsp;principle&nbsp;of least privilege and examining how various systems should&nbsp;interact with each other in a secure manner. Participants take on a role of a nation state hacker to learn how commonly tried defensive techniques are bypassed and seemingly secure systems breached. The journey starts in the outer perimeter with breaching a web application, to compromising high value internal systems.
