METEORSTORM (RCO Excercise)

Awarded to individuals who have completed our two-hour instructor led Multiple Environment Threat Evaluation of Resources, Space Threats, and Operational Risks to Missions (METEORSTORM)™ Resilient Cyber Operations (RCO) Exercise, this badge signifies applied decision making under adversary pressure.

The exercise puts a team in front of a live adversary campaign and makes them decide. Participants sit as the operator under attack. Five tables run five companies across the terrestrial, aquatic, aerial, orbital and deep space environments, drawing on a library of 144 space specific attacks, and defend their company through one campaign that advances a phase every round.

Every round follows the same four steps.

• Advisory. It says what is being observed, on one segment, not what to do.
• Vote. One resilience measure, one detection signature, from sixteen cards. The card with the most votes is the table's choice.
• Resolve. Blocked, detected, or landed. Treasury, share price and segment state move.
• Reveal. Every card explained: ideal, acceptable, or why it did not fit this attack.

Because the companies share payload capacity and ground station services, one table's decision changes another table's risk. A negligent table's shared payload costs its partners, and a ground station outage charges everyone who buys service from it. Supply chain risk stops being abstract. Security, operations, engineering and leadership sit at one table and decide in ten minutes on a finite budget, so the exercise is cross functional by design.

The session runs two hours: twenty minutes of briefing and how to play, sixty minutes of timed play across procurement and five rounds, and a twenty minute debrief. Participants receive a certificate on completion carrying 2 CPE credits and the full NICE Framework work role mapping, and the session also counts as annual space cybersecurity awareness training.
