Level One Certification holders have completed the level one training. Learning to leverage metaphors to support their work as a coach. Participants have demonstrated an understanding of how metaphors light up the minds of their clients and how to listen for and use the metaphors their clients share. Earners have demonstrated a commitment to high coaching standards, a coaching mindset, and, through practice and a self-reflective process, a Beginning degree of competence and fluency in using metaphorical language schemas in their work with clients. The Level One Certification must be renewed every three years.

This robust course takes place over 7 Sessions; discussions of the neuroscience and general science of metaphors, Coaching Practice, Demonstrations for learning, transcript analysis, fieldwork, and a reflective journal are needed to complete the certification.
